Wally and his brother Dave worked primarily in the areas of residential site work, utilities, and concrete foundations throughout the 70’s and into the 80’s. In 1988, Wally and Dave incorporated and started W&D Smith and Sons and in the early 90’s supplemented their residential work with diverse commercial projects. W&D Smith and Sons experienced steady growth and were awarded their first bonded job in 1999. In January 2005, Smith Site Development, LLC was formed to add to the growth of the business family. W&D Smith and Smith Site Development together form the Smith Companies.
